How to Track Pest Control Leads by Neighborhood

June 13, 2026 · 5 min read

Routing pest control leads by neighborhood beats routing by individual addresses. Here's the system.

Cluster, don't scatter

Pest control margins live and die by drive time. If your techs zigzag the city, you're paying for gas instead of treatments.

The cluster system

  1. Paint neighborhoods as territories
  2. Pin every sold customer in the territory
  3. Schedule recurring treatments by neighborhood day (e.g. 'Maple Grove Tuesdays')
  4. Knock adjacent doors on the same day to fill the route

Fields that matter per lead

  • Gate code
  • Pets (name them — techs remember)
  • Pest type
  • Entry points (sketch them)
  • Next service date

Territoryly's pest template ships with all of these by default.
